The Red Dog Story

Tens of thousands of years ago, early man started painting in caves with red pigment. A place of gathering, shelter, warmth and nourishment, red dogs were amongst the earliest symbols decorating these caves, where fires were lit and families lived together in safety. Our ethos at Red Dog takes us back to this most pure version of what home is, to remind us why kitchens always provide such a warm heart in the home and speak to our basic human longings.

At a private view in 2017, where Sally hung two large, vibrant, Perspex paintings from the ceiling of the gallery; she overhead a guest whisper to her friend, “That would look interesting in a kitchen.” BOOM! Red Dog Glass Design was born!

Having built a house herself, and renovated many more, Sally understands the numerous decisions that go into creating your perfect space. Through Red Dog Glass Design, she harnesses all this buildings and interior design expertise, and brings fine art into your living space both as a highly practical solution and an impressive visual statement.

Sally would love to work with you and help transform your space into the extraordinary. She will work with you to combine her contemporary art, exciting materials and technology to make the magic happen, creating the ‘wow’ factor for your space.

Artists and Designers

Creating unique, bespoke designs for your extraordinary spaces is a result of wonderful teamwork. Sally works very closely with the hugely talented Queen of Red Dog Design, Lizzie Everard and her design team.

The process of deconstructing the original painting and rebuilding it is complex; it requires precise design so compositionally it fits the requested size and shape. Our design method applies extreme attention to detail to ensure the final artwork is of an absolutely stunning visual quality.
